Conceptualised around fresh produce, Nota serves up healthy and thoughtful modern European dishes made from start to finish—think sourdough, marination base, salad dressing, and broths. 

Try its Salmon Tataki and Avocado spread on homemade sourdough toast. The Rotisserie akin to a Sunday roast, complete with homemade chorizo sausages, sous vide chicken, and served with a crispy potato rosti; every meat in this dish is cooked in charcoal oven for a smoky flavour. The Stoneage meat platter is a carnivorous treat with grass fed Black Angus skirt steak, New Zealand lamb shoulder, and French foie gras marinated with botanical gin.

Nea Fine Bake

Specialising in classic French viennoiserie, Nea's specialty is the croissant, which it has perfected. The plain croissant is popular but be adventurous and indulge in the variety of flavours. We recommend the salted egg and yam, Niko Neko matcha and Belgian chocolate croissants.

Gula Cakery

Since 2015, Gula Cakery has been serving decadent treats from cakes and pavlovas to local delights such as nasi tomato and nasi kerabu. We love the pandan gula Melaka cake, double chocolate Nutella and the berry pavlova. For savouries, the chilli butter mussels scooped up with fluffy mantou are not to be missed.

Brew 9

Brew 9's founder Mirshal Lourdusamy realised her love for connecting with others through coffee and started selling cold brews from her home. The business expanded quickly; in August last year, it opened its first brick-and-mortar in Kota Kemuning.

Apart from coffee, the cold-steeped chocolate and cold brew peach infused tea are also good.

Brew N Bread

Serving a mix of traditional Malaysian dishes and Western classics, Brew N Bread has a rustic ambiance scented with its house-roasted coffee beans. There are two types of beans: Driver, which has a bold profile, and Sugardaddy with fruity notes. 

The pastas are sinfully delicious—try the soft shell crab fettuccine, truffle carbonara bacon brisket, and fettuccine pomodoro. For dessert, the nangka strudel offers a delicate balance of eastern and western flavours.
