1. Fat Cow
Fat Cow is turning 10 and in honour of this significant milestone, the fine Japanese restaurant will be presenting a special 10th anniversary menu from November 1 to December 31. This offering was created by head chef Shigeru Kasajima and draws inspiration not only from Fat Cow’s heritage but his French fine dining background.
Be enthralled by dishes such as Wagyu monaka, a crispy biscuit with buttery foie gras and juicy Wagyu tenderloin, as well as a long-time favourite, the Sukiyaki. The latter sees the snow-aged Wagyu decorated with thinly shaved truffles and a brilliantly coloured Japanese egg yolk. The star of the experience though is the 60 Day dry-aged Sendai Wagyu—served with awayuki salt, grilled shishito peppers and seasonal vegetables. Order it medium rare for the best flavour.
