Before its official opening in July, the eatery is offering a limited-edition teaser menu, available for takeaway or island-wide delivery
Gourmands who visit Brooklyn, New York would often make a food pilgrimage to Lucali. The legendary pizza joint by chef-owner Mark Iacono has made a name for itself with its humble Brooklyn-style pie created with the chef’s exacting standards—a precise 18-inch light and chewy base topped with a secret four-hour tomato sauce recipe passed down from his grandmother, four types of cheese and fresh basil leaves.
In fact, the ‘Lucali pie’, along with other signatures such as calzone and homemade meatballs, have gained a loyal A-list following including celebrity chef David Chang (who featured it in his Netflix show, Ugly Delicious) as well as the music industry's power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

If you want to get a taste of its famed dishes, you don’t have to travel far and wide as hospitality expert Gibran Baydoun has partnered with Iacono to bring the ‘Lucali experience’ to Singapore. Helming the kitchen is chef Ariana Flores, who worked at Nancy Silverton’s now-defunct Osteria Mozza at Marina Bay Sands.
Lucali Bygb will officially open its doors in the Kallang district in July, during phase two of the country's safe re-opening measures once dining out in smaller groups is allowed. To tide you over, the team is offering a teaser menu comprising pastas, salads, and the quintessential American meatloaf for delivery or takeaway.
