We round up the food and drink happenings that you should know about this week
The Tatler Dining Awards 2022 were unveiled on February 21, marking a brief moment of reprieve before the Hong Kong government extended current dining and social gathering restrictions until at least April 20, casting an even larger shadow on the hospitality industry's woes in the process. Despite the beatdown, restaurants and bars are putting on a brave face nevertheless, with new offers and events to continue enticing diners. Here are just a few that have caught our eye this week.

Recently named as one of the Tatler Dining 20 list for 2022—an unranked collection of the year’s most interesting, impactful and inspiring restaurants—Andō is introducing a new seasonal menu that builds on chef Agustin Balbi's journey from Argentina to Japan and Hong Kong.
Over eight courses, diners will find familiar dishes that have been served since the restaurant's opening and updated using seasonal produce. The menu begins with Tardes en Palermo, a starter of French blue lobster, cauliflower, Kristal caviar and Spanish plankton; Que Raro Este Flan, a savoury version of a childhood flan snack that incorporates Japanese ama-ebi and clams steamed in chawanmushi egg custard; followed by Cien Años No Son Nada, a brioche and sourdough course served with butters and Spanish olive oil harvested from thousand-year-old trees; and Departir, a kaiseki-inspired selection of seafood prepared using Japanese techniques.
Mains include Medio Mundo, a dish of line-caught seabass; Risas del Jardin, a steak course featuring Argentinian 21-day dry-aged Hereford beef; Risas del Jardin, a steak course featuring Argentinian 21-day dry-aged Hereford beef; and Sin Lola, Balbi's deeply personal take on Spanish arroz caldoso; before a wagashi-inspired dessert of garrapiñada, maple syrup, and caramelised pecans nuts titled Mi Domingo Favorito.
Dinner is priced at HK$1,888 for six courses and HK$2,488 for eight courses, while lunch is priced at HK$788 for five courses, and HK$988 for six courses.
