These joints are dishing out delectable creations that are sure to satisfy your cravings
From bagel houses to Japanese sandwich joints, we have seen various new café concepts popping up around the island this year. Even towards the year-end, the scene is still booming with new joints opening and offering mouth-watering creations. Having said that, there is no better time to head out for a café-hop this month.
Start in Katong, where you will find two new concepts: Flock Café and Ree and Mummy. Then, head to September Coffee in Chinatown for Korean-inspired fare before moving on to Anna’s Sourdough in Punggol for all things sourdough. End the hunt in Sembawang with The Nursery Café & Bar and revel in hearty brunch staples while surrounded by flora and fauna. With so many new openings, you are bound to find your next favourite café spot.

1. September Coffee
The latest addition to Chinatown’s booming café scene is September Coffee, a Korean-inspired café offering Korean-fusion fare. Sink your teeth into unique creations like the honey butter udon, a noodle dish comprising thick and chewy udon mixed in a rich honey butter sauce. It’s topped with tender fried chicken chunks and almond slivers. Fans of seafood will not want to miss out on the tiger prawn toast, a signature dish of buttery brioche layered with juicy tiger prawns, wasabi, mayo and cured ikura. Wash these dishes down with the Sakura Peach Blossom, a refreshing drink of Sakura, white peach and chamomile.
