每年的 3 月 20 日即是「國際幸福日」。

國際幸福日又稱為世界幸福日,英文為 International Day of Happiness,在這節日要做什麼呢?如字面上意思,希望在這個節日中無論男女老少,每個人、每個教室、每家企業以及每個政府,都能因為這個節日認識到幸福在生活中的重要性。

國際幸福日由來

國際幸福日這項決議由不丹發起,自上世紀70年代開始,不丹便首次提出並開始著手落實「國民幸福總值」的概念,並且提倡其重要性更甚於「國內生產總值」。

直至 2012 年 6 月 28 日,聯合國大會在宣布每年 3月 20 日為國際幸福日,並公開說明,「確認幸福和福祉是全世界人類生活中的普世目標和願望,同時具有現實意義。」同時補充道,希望可以採取更包容、公平和平衡的經濟增長方式,以促進持續發展,消除貧窮,增進全體人民的幸福和福祉。

2015 年聯合國正式啟動旨在消除貧困,減少不平等以及保護地球的 17 項可持續發展目標,同時這些目標的宗旨正是給人們帶來幸福並感到快樂的 3 大要素。

但要如何讓自己更幸福呢?耶魯大學認知和心理學教授桑托斯(Laurie Santos)公曾開表示,「幸福感是可以通過訓練和學習獲得」關於教授桑托斯提高幸福感的5個方法,也一併分享給讀者。

1. 寫感謝日記

每天睡前都寫出10項讓你感謝的人、事、物,不管或大或小皆可。心理學教授桑托斯表示,「可能聽起來很簡單,但我明確的看到那些堅持這麼做的學生們,確實更幸福。」

2. 挑戰睡滿 8 小時

讓今晚睡得更好吧!這項挑戰是每天晚上睡滿 8 個小時,試圖持續一週再來看看你的情緒表現。大家都知道,睡得更多、睡眠質量更好,會降低罹患抑鬱症的風險以及提升隔日的效率,但相對的這看似簡單方式,卻是大眾普遍最難實踐的項目。

3. 經常性的冥想

哪怕每天冥想 10 分鐘,都會讓自己感覺更良好!冥想是個很需要專注的活動,同時可以跟自己對話並且有助於身心靈放鬆,絕對是提升幸福感的好方法。

4. 花時間與家人和朋友在一起

許多研究指出,「與朋友和家人享受美好時光能讓人更快樂」。與喜歡的人在一起不需要花費太多時間和精力,就可以擁有健康的人際關係和社會關係,同時也會顯著提高你的心靈健康狀態。

5. 暫時放下你的社交軟體

如果人與人之間的相處,可以採用面對面的方式無非是最佳選擇。研究指出,重度使用社交軟體的使用者,遠比不怎麼使用的人幸福感大幅減少許多,主因是社交媒體給的是種虛假的幸福感,所以盡可能別被它佔據,多建立現實生活中的情感連結。
