5 Things You May Have Missed in The New 'Ms Marvel' Trailer: Multiverse Theory, Villains, and More

A misfit's dream of becoming a superheroine comes true in Marvel's upcoming TV series 'Ms Marvel'. Here's what we have to watch out for based on the trailer

Marvel fans are once again united online after Disney Plus released the trailer for its upcoming series Ms Marvel. The show, which premieres in June, will focus on the story of Kamala Khan (portrayed by Iman Vellani) and her origin as Ms Marvel before she joins Monica Rambeau (portrayed by Teyonah Parris) and Carol Denvers (portrayed by Brie Larson) in The Marvels.

1. Ms Marvel's Superhero Obsession

Right off the bat, the Ms Marvel trailer shows Kamala Khan's obsession with the Avengers. Khan is known for her wild imagination and for writing superhero fan fictions. In her drawings, it can be seen that she imagines Ant Man's battles. Is it possible that these heroes could cross paths?

2. Kamala's Avengers Shirt Shows Captain Marvel, Wasp, and Valkyrie

In the hallway with her friends, Khan wears a shirt that says "Women, let's get information," and shows Captain Marvel, Wasp, and Valkyrie closely standing together. Many fans have speculated that this may mean that the trio has formed a team of their own.

3. New villains?

The trailer has also teased four mysterious figures amidst a lot of smoke around them. Although their identities were not revealed, people suspect that they are the villains that Ms Marvel will fight in the series. There have been rumours that the superhero's nemesis in the show will be the ClanDestine, a family who descended from the powerful Djinn magicians.

4. Powercuff

Khan's new MCU powers and origin are shown in the initial trailer of Ms Marvel. The hero now has powers that seemingly originate from the energy-filled powercuff that she has found in her attic. This may mean that Khan does not have powers when she takes the gauntlet off.

One of the most intriguing parts of the trailer is the sequence where Ms Marvel seemingly falls from one world (or timeline) to another. This ability may be tied to Ms Marvel's power to witness big events in other universes.
