Ready to party the weekend away when F1 roars into town? Here are the best parties to be seen at during race weekend

Formula One fever will soon be upon us and with that comes one of the biggest party weekends to look forward to in Singapore. From major international acts taking the stage to various restaurants pulling out all the stops for new menus—the country is prepared to go all out to show everyone a good time.

This year, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the after-parties are set to be bigger and wilder than ever. Besides the entertainment lineup at F1 itself, party-goers can expect everything from Amber Lounge to completely take over The Clifford Pier at Fullerton Bay Hotel to world-famous DJs Steve Aoki and Afrojack to light up the night.

1. Amber Lounge

Dubbed as the world’s most exclusive after-party, Amber Lounge is back to dominate the festivities over the exciting F1 weekend.

This year, the ultra-luxe post-race event will be held within the iconic Fullerton Heritage precinct at The Clifford Pier in Fullerton Bay Hotel. Guests can expect to be transported on a multi-sensorial journey that includes champagne, cocktails crafted by award-winning bartenders, international music artists and more—all while soaking in the gorgeous panoramic view of Marina Bay waterfront.

This year, Amber Lounge’s Saturday opening night party (October 1) will see a live performance headlined by acclaimed DJ and electronic music producer, Oliver Heldens. On Sunday night (October 2), Swedish singer-songwriter John Martin will take over the party. 

Martin will be performing alongside Michel Zitron, a renowned record producer and singer-songwriter who has been featured on massive club hits such as Tiesto’s Red Lights

2. Mandala Weekender

Now that F1 is making a comeback, we can expect to see a slew of heart-stopping performances and concerts from some of the biggest names in the industry. This year, the private members’ club Mandala Club, in collaboration with Marina Bay Sands, is kickstarting the party weekend with its inaugural Mandala Weekender event.

Set to take place over three nights at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, you can expect a world-class race viewing and party experience with some of the most exclusive guest lists in Singapore and the biggest acts globally. 

The event will be headlined by international artists including Kelis, Rae Sremmurd, Armand van Helden, Louis Vega and Rudimental.

3. Ce La Vi’s Cyber Rally: Race Week

In conjunction with Grey Goose Vodka, Ce La Vi will be throwing a kaleidoscopic, neon punk-themed party that is set to see world-class international and local DJs, immersive LED installations and more across four days.

The highlight of the race-themed party will be guest DJ Danny Tenaglia, who will be performing an extended set at the Club Lounge on October 1.

4. Marquee Singapore’s Race Weekend

This is not for the faint-hearted: be prepared to party all night at Singapore’s grandest nightclub, Marquee Singapore, because worldwide sensations Steve Aoki and Afrojack will be headlining on September 30 and October 1 respectively. So round up the most energetic and party-loving friends you have and spend an electrifying night (or two) here.

5. Andaz Singapore’s Race Party

In collaboration with Red Bull, Grey Goose, Auchentoshan and Peroni, Mr Stork at Andaz Singapore will be hosting a rooftop race party with a rotation of live DJ performances from 6 pm to 1 am on September 30 and October 1.

Besides themed cocktails and party shots, guests will also be treated to a specially curated snacking platter that includes wagyu short rib baos, truffle brie de meaux toast, aburi tuna tartare and deep-fried buffalo wings.
