In December 2014, the joyous couple celebrated their wedding reception in Kuala Lumpur, followed by a blissful garden ceremony in Puncak Dani, Genting Highlands, and another reception at the Sabie River Bush Lodge in Boden's home country of South Africa, where the bride was accompanied down the aisle by her own entourage of 'Shangaan impi' warriors—a hard one to top by way of truly unforgettable aisle moments.

In a lavish palace ceremony covered by global media outlets like the BBC, Johor princess Tunku Tun Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Ibrahim wed her beau of three years Dennis Muhammad Abdullah. Fans and followers of the beloved princess were delighted to see her that nuptial proceedings followed traditional royal Johor customs.

In what was undoubtedly the most talked-about Malaysian wedding in 2018, Berjaya Corporation's Chryseis Tan wed Naza Group's Faliq Nasimuddin in an epic reception attended by royals, corporate leaders, and even celebrities like Westlife's Shane Filan, who made a surprise appearance to sing for the happy couple.

Sarawakian bride Diana Moggie pulled out all the stops to make her dream wedding to Raja Nazeem Iskandar a reality, all while showcasing the beauty of her Iban heritage. Fun fact: In addition to her traditional Iban costume, the bride wore five wedding dresses, ranging from a stunning silk baju kurung to a Caroline Castigliano gown.

Celebrity chef and TV host Ili Sulaiman wed her childhood sweetheart Avinesh Kutty in a truly multicultural affair that included an akad nikah ceremony, a Chinese tea ceremony and a traditional Indian ceremony, before culminating in a Bollywood-inspired reception rife with sarees, lehengas and lots of cheers and laughter.
