Tatler hosted an exclusive cocktail evening at the House of Lange in The Starhill

Guests of Tatler received an education in A. Lange & Söhne fine watchmaking prowess at its two-week pop-up in The Starhill in Kuala Lumpur. The House of Lange, which made the city its home from November 16-29, displayed a curated selection of vintage and modern pieces from the historical German maison, with a watchmaker on-site working on a proper movement that would appear in someone's watch. This was the first time that the House of Lange came to Malaysia where the luxury brand currently doesn't have a permanent physical presence.

Founded in 1845, A. Lange & Söhne ceased production during the Second World War but was revived by Walter Langer after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990. The brand was officially relaunched in 1994. Today, it is known among connoisseurs for its very individualistic approach, from the off-centre dial of Lange 1 to the complicated Zeitwerk that had seen numerous technical patents.
