In partnership with Raffles City, Tatler GMT hosted two exclusive evenings at the mall, welcoming watch enthusiasts to celebrate discovery, craftsmanship, and community

In partnership with Raffles City, Tatler GMT hosted two exclusive evenings that celebrated the art of watchmaking, discovery, and community. The first, held on 19 August at the mall’s Tudor boutique, immersed guests in the brand’s Born to Dare philosophy through a programme of storytelling, sportsmanship, and interactive experiences.

The evening began with an opening speech by Tatler GMT Singapore editor Annabel Tan, who then invited Cla Riedi, general manager of Tudor Southeast Asia, to welcome the guests and also share the brand’s vision.

During the evening, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés while taking part in an adrenaline-fuelled F1 arcade game competition, which proved to be a highlight of the night. Friendly rivalries played out as participants raced for the top score, with the winner later announced to much applause—and rewarded with a prize.

The Tudor boutique was bustling with activity and excitement throughout the night as guests engaged in the touch-and-feel showcase of Tudor’s latest creations, including the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25”, Black Bay Ceramic “Blue”, and Black Bay Chrono with an opaline dial. To conclude the evening, guests departed with door gifts as keepsakes of the event—along with the new connections and memories forged over a shared passion for watchmaking.

On 20 August, the spotlight turned to the Breitling boutique at Raffles City, where the focus was on the Swiss watchmaker’s spirit of casual luxury and precision performance. Guests were welcomed with canapés and refreshments before exploring a bespoke leather-charm crafting station where they could customise leather keychains.

Tatler GMT editor Annabel Tan once again opened the evening, before inviting Alvin Soon, president of Breitling Asia, to share a brand presentation that underscored what makes Breitling different, from its bold design codes to its core values, and lifestyle-driven approach to luxury.

Following the presentation, guests put their newfound knowledge to the test in a lively quiz session, with the top three winners taking home exclusive prizes.

A dynamic fireside chat between Tan and Soon ensued, with conversations ranging from the significance of meaningful collaborations to the enduring appeal of the Chronomat, and the direction the brand is charting for modern watchmaking. Guests then experienced the novelties up close during a dedicated touch-and-feel session, while the charm-crafting workshop resumed for those eager to create a keepsake.

Both evenings reflected what makes the Tatler GMT and Raffles City partnership so special: experiences that go beyond the showcase of timepieces to embrace craftsmanship, culture, and community. Whether racing against the clock at Tudor’s F1 arcade or testing their knowledge in Breitling’s quiz, guests left not only with prizes and keepsakes, but with a deeper connection to the values that define each brand.
