The boutique-exclusive watch brings back the Tudor blue
These days, it is not common to find a Tudor watch in blue so it is nice to see the hue return in the new Black Bay Chrono. And such a handsome blue! The colour is inspired by two watches from the 1970s: the Submariner “Snowflake” and the “Montecarlo” Oysterdate Chronograph.
The blue adds a distinct touch to the instantly recognisable Black Bay Chrono, a watch that blends elements of a dive watch and a sports chronograph. While not a limited edition, the watch is exclusively available in Tudor boutiques.

Above Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Blue”
The snowflake hands, a signature for Tudor dive watches, has been honed to provide optimum readability. The dial takes design cues from the first-generation Tudor chronographs with a 45-minute counter and a date aperture at 6 o’clock.
The 41mm watch in stainless steel is powered by the self-winding Caliber MT5813 based on Breitling’s Caliber B01. Tudor developed the regulating organ that delivers COSC-certified precision performance.
