The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up Watch is the new luxury timepiece you'll ever need, whether you're travelling by air, sea, or road

During these precarious times, it's important to stay connected and keep track of the world we live in. You can do so with ease and style through the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up Watch, the newest version of the Maison's original Tambour watch.

At one glance, you'll notice that it has a masterfully-designed and engineered curved sapphire glass—which serves as the touch screen—that pours over the edges, making the watch's 44mm case appear smaller on the wrist.

The 24 LED lights behind the signature Louis Vuitton Monogram ring also lights up in a dancing kaleidoscope of colours, which would be hard not to notice when you receive important notifications. You may even choose from three versions of the Tambour Horizon Light Up—the Polished Steel, the Matte Black and the Matte Brown (which is a reflection of one of the Maison’s iconic historic codes.)

There are many ways to express yourself, one of which is through the watch face that now has an always-on display that can be curated to suit your mood, look, or occasion. You may also choose from eight built-in dial configurations including a striped animation (a nod to Louis Vuitton's early trunks) and a dial that features Vivienne, the Maison's mascot.

If you wish to add your own initials, you may do so with your choice of typeface and colour to make it as unique as yourself.

Later on, you may choose to change the watch face design as the brand releases additional designs depending on the season, fashion shows, and holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, and more.

Apart from its exquisite appearance, you'll admire its bespoke features that connect you to the world.

Its custom-designed operating system is new—the OS provides a more intuitive experience, with functions that allow you to access different features by swiping:

Swiping right will show "My Day" which—for the first time—includes a heart-rate monitor, step count, and air quality displays; left takes you to "My Travel" where you can access travel plans and boarding passes, and even 30 of the Maison's curated city guides; down will show your notifications; and up will reveal the control panel which includes timers, alarms, music, and Alipay.

The internal hardware features the lightening-quick Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. The Tambour Horizon is also water-resistant to 30 metres.

You won't have to worry throughout the day as the watch is equipped with an all-day battery and four modes that suit your needs and usage. There's the Blossom, Explorer, Submarine, and Saver reduce. You may even expand the watch's animations for it to adapt to your own mood and rhythm.

The Tambour Horizon Light Up is also the first of its kind to have push buttons on either side of the crown for extra functionality; when you rotate the crown, it changes the watch dial; when you press the top button, it will active the watch face shuffle mode and configuration settings; the bottom pusher is a shortcut button which can be set to active any application you need in an instant.
