The material is chosen to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Chopard L.U.C Qualité Fleurier collection
Established in 2001, the Fleurier Quality Foundation offers an added layer of quality assurance to ensure each luxury timepiece meets the highest standards before reaching its owner. Its founding members include three watch manufactures located in Fleurier—one of them being Chopard, which produces its high-end L.U.C timepieces here.

Any watch that receives the QF certification meets the following criteria: 100 per cent Swiss made, reliable precision in all circumstances, tested reliability and durability, and exclusive aesthetic finishing. By fulfilling these strict requirements, the L.U.C Qualité Fleurier lives up to its name—the ultimate expression of haute horlogerie where exceptional technical performance meets uncompromising aesthetic refinement.

Chopard released its first Qualité Fleurier, or QF-certified, timepiece in 2005, an L.U.C in 18-karat rose gold that referenced a 1950s sector dial. Since then, Chopard has produced 11 other QF-certified L.U.Cs. This year, it released the 13th watch, the 20-piece L.U.C Qualité Fleurier 20th Anniversary Edition, for the first time in ethical yellow gold.
Powered by the slim L.U.C 96.09-L with Chopard’s Twin Technology that offers a 65-hour of power reserve, the 39mm timepiece recalls the design of the original 2005 model, including the two-tone sector dial.
We absolutely love the retro-modern look of the watch, with the gilded brass of the dial centre complementing the brown chapter ring set with arrow-shaped markers. These markers are enhanced with Super-Luminova, as are the syringe-shaped hands and the baton small seconds hand in the sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The crown is also ethical yellow gold, topped with the L.U.C logo. A brown calfskin with beige stitching completes the look.

20 Fine Years
Due to the highly meticulous and time-intensive nature of the process, fewer than 3,000 pieces have earned the Qualité Fleurier certification. Chopard has produced only 13 limited editions with this certification in the last two decades, making these timepieces profoundly exclusive.
