The matte blue ceramic is also featured in four haute horlogerie J12 watches. Among them, the J12 Bleu Diamond Tourbillon shines as a true masterpiece, representing the pinnacle of Chanel’s watchmaking savoir faire. Limited to 55 pieces, it features a flying tourbillon with a 65‑facet solitaire diamond at its centre. The hypnotic motion of the tourbillon is complemented by an openworked blue dial framed by a bezel set with 34 baguette‑cut sapphires, each chosen for its perfect shade of blue. Additionally, the sides of both the 38 mm ceramic case and bracelet have been meticulously hand‑polished for eight hours, complementing the exquisite craftsmanship of the watch equipped with the calibre 5, a mechanical marvel developed over three years at the Chanel Manufacture.

The blue ceramic is further showcased in a few more pieces in the line: the 33 mm J12 Bleu Caliber 12.2 watch featuring 12 diamond indicators; the stunning 42 mm and 28 mm J12 Bleu Sapphires watches, both adorned with blue sapphires on the dial, bezel and bracelet; and the 38 mm J12 Bleu Sapphires watch, which showcases 58 natural baguette‑cut sapphires on its bezel and dial.
Rounding off the fresh offerings is the J12 Bleu X‑Ray. Crafted from blue sapphire crystal—a new hue inspired by the colours of the sea and the sky on a clear day—and white gold, it is the only non‑ceramic piece in the J12 Bleu collection and is limited to just 12 numbered pieces. Remarkably, its 38 mm case and bracelet were sculpted from a single block of synthetic sapphire crystal in a meticulous process that took more than 1,600 hours, while the white gold bezel and links are set with 196 brilliant blue baguette‑cut natural sapphires.
