Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Treasure Island” collection embarks on a dazzling adventure, where gemstones become treasures, and tales of tropical nature and untamed seas are told through the language of light and masterful artistry.
Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic adventure novel Treasure Island, first published in 1883, Van Cleef & Arpels unveils a world of wonder with this high jewellery collection. Designers, jewellers and stone experts from the Maison have conjured an imaginary realm, where a cast of colourful characters sail across the seas in search of treasure hidden deep within a mysterious island.
Stevenson’s Treasure Island resonates as a profound human experience. It has captivated millions and left an enduring imprint on the worlds of painting, poetry and decorative arts. “We wanted to recreate that world in a collection of high jewellery that is vibrant, playful and joyful,” shares Nicolas Bos, Chairman and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels.
