Tiffany & Co: Tatler friends get an exclusive tour of Jean Schlumberger's iconic designs

On May 30, Tiffany & Co's boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was transformed into a floral fantasy to welcome Tatler friends with a discerning eye for the best and most stylish wares. Naturally, they were invited to peruse Jean Schlumberger's nature-inspired high jewellery pieces. 

One of the most gifted artists of the 20th century, the late Jean Schlumberger was a French jewellery designer. He rose to fame for his work with Tiffany & Co, showcasing whimsical interpretations of flora and fauna. His iconic designs immortalised starfish, orchids, fish, and the famous bird on a rock. Throughout his career, his clientele included notable figures in history, such as Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Gloria Vanderbilt, and the Duchess of Windsor. Schumberger stands alongside Paloma Picasso, Elsa Peretti and Frank Gehry as one of the four artists whose work is signed by Tiffany & Co.

At this event, Tatler friends were treated to an exclusive Tiffany & Co experience where they could learn more about Jean Schlumberger and try on his legendary high jewellery designs for themselves. They were also given the opportunity to discover the luxury jewellery brand's classic and versatile designs, including the Tiffany HardWear, Return to Tiffany, Tiffany Lock, and more.
