Renowned French luxury jeweller Fred opens its first Malaysian boutique at The Exchange TRX
Since 1936, Parisian luxury jewellery maison Fred has been capturing the essence of the French Riviera in its exquisite pieces, embodying founder Fred Samuel’s sempiternal love for the sun and sea.
As Kuala Lumpur’s latest luxury mall, The Exchange TRX is the ideal setting for Fred’s debut in the Malaysian market.
Inspired by Samuel’s creative vigour, the boutique’s design reflects the warmth of the French Riviera. Its art deco patterns pay homage to the arches of Fred’s first Parisian boutique, incorporating the beauty of the South of France.

This milestone marries Kuala Lumpur’s international financial district with the spirit of France. Seibu KL was precisely chosen as the new home for Fred’s new boutique, being the first luxury Japanese department store in Malaysia that offers both international and Japanese fashion brands.
Fred’s opening celebration featured a special appearance from Thai artist and friend of the brand, Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat. Jongcheveevat’s nature perfectly reflects Fred’s elegance and joie de vivre, and his presence added an extra touch of enthusiasm for the occasion. He was joined by several Malaysian celebrities, such as Alicia Amin, Felicia Lee, and Josh Kua.
