From robust small plates to hearty paellas, Las Meninas in The Exchange TRX transports diners to Spain with its authentic yet innovative creations. Homegrown success Kenny Hills Bakers has been serving fresh coffee, cakes and organic bread since 2014, beginning from a humble half-lot in Bukit Tunku and eventually expanding to numerous distinguished KL and Selangor neighbourhoods. Now opening its latest outlet in The Exchange TRX, the bakery-cum-café looks to serve up coffee alongside freshly baked bread and pastries to go as well as hearty dishes for gourmands looking to take it slow. 

The latest project by Kenny Hills Hospitality Group, Amazonas is the culmination of the restaurateur group’s penchant for marrying exemplary service with culinary excellence in a rooftop experience that bears all the makings of a downtown hotspot. Trendsetters and gourmands will enjoy an open-fire concept that focuses on the rich culinary diversity of Latin American cuisines through sharing plates and creative cocktails. When the sun sets, get a party going with a backdrop of the sublime KL city skyline and contemporary Amazonian inspired decor as DJs set the mood for an evening fiesta.

Union Bistrot is one of The Exchange TRX’s most recently opened eateries. If you’re ever spending a day at the lifestyle hub and begin craving local flavours, head to this spot for a masterclass in fusion. You’ll be greeted with a menu of reinvented classics, from fried chicken on nasi lemak waffles and beef tongue carpaccio with rendang aioli to chicken croquettes with rambutan salsa and honey roasted beetroot served with tamarind yoghurt. 

Homemade sourdough and freshly roasted coffee beans define the dining experience at VCR Stacks. The intimate Mont Kiara sandwich specialist recently opened its newest outlet in The Exchange TRX, with VCR’s mainstay—its specialty coffee—on the menu. Elevations of sandwich artistry like its beloved egg sandwich and tribute to Vietnamese banh mi can be found at the café’s latest branch. 

With its gelato laboratory residing at The Five, Damansara, this local gelato specialist has branched into the city. Offering a curated selection of gelatos and sorbets that stay true to Italian accords and processes, guests can expect only the finest frozen desserts.

Café Colombo adds variety to The Exchange TRX’s dining scene, offering Sri Lankan heritage cuisine. Fusing the classic and the cosmopolitan, the laidback eatery draws inspiration from the vibrance of Colombo. From expertly spiced share plates to egg appam, its menu is symbolic of Sri Lanka’s history and traditions. 

Steeped in tradition, Kanbe Ramen offers visitors of The Exchange TRX an authentic Japanese dining experience. Each of their seven broth options is intensely velvety, with pork bones used as their foundations. There is no limit to each portion’s customisation, from broth strength to noodle chewiness. 

Established in 2004 in New York City’s Madison Square Park, Shake Shack has since grown to a whopping 470+ locations worldwide, including over 165 international locations in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and more. Making its debut here in Malaysia at The Exchange TRX, its menu not only includes the quintessential Shake Shack offerings such as its ever-popular ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, 'Shroom Burger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Shakes, and more, but also sees a Malaysia-exclusive item, the hibiscus-accented Bunga Raya Shake. 

Singapore F&B group Tipsy Collective, renowned for its focus on live entertainment, gourmet food and premium drinks, arrives for the first time in Malaysia with Tipsy Flamingo. This 80s inspired restaurant, complete with its own in-house flamingo mascot named Flo, will introduce a new way to enjoy familiar favourites with creative fusion delicacies. Famous Indonesian fine dining restaurant Warung Eropa brings “the finest duck in Bali” to The Exchange TRX. Experience three meticulously crafted set menus for two only available in December, surrounded by an elegant, authentic Balinese ambience, with each menu designed to showcase the restaurant’s signature specialities. The signature duck, best enjoyed with fragrant steamed white rice, urap urap (a steamed salad served with a spicy grated coconut dressing) and three types of signature sambal, is a must-have. Indonesian favourites such as sop buntut, beef oxtail, and fried chicken served with a unique crunchy condiment and house-made sambal merah, are essentials that also shouldn’t be missed.
