Ana de Armas is all grace and strength as butt-kicking agent Paloma in the new James Bond film

Ana de Armas, in a slinky halter neck dress, shows off impressive martial art moves in a clip from the No Time To Die trailer. Instantly making an impression, she is one of two new agents that will be introduced in the 25th Bond film, the other being Nomi, the first female 00 agent played by Lashana Lynch.

The Cuban-Spanish actress first came to global attention in Blade Runner 2049 and Knives Out, the latter also starring Daniel Craig a.k.a. James Bond. de Armas was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her performance in Knives Out.

In No Time To Die, she portrays Paloma, a CIA agent who aids Bond in his mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist. In the pivotal fight scene, de Arma also wore three high jewellery pieces from Chopard's Green Carpet Collection. This collection is distinguished by the fact that the gemstones are sustainably sourced from suppliers endorsed by the Responsible Jewellery Council while the gold is 100 per cent ethical and certified Fairmined. 

Chopard is the official partner of No Time To Die, which also marks Craig's fifth and final appearance as 007. The film was originally scheduled for release last year but delayed several times due to the pandemic. In Malaysia, its release date has been moved again from September to November 25, 2021. No Time To Die is directed by Cary Fukunaga and also stars Ralph Fiennes, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rami Malek.
