Friends of the house Pia Wurtzbach and LISA were present at the unveiling of the Bulgari Tubogas collection in Bangkok

Bulgari introduced its latest Tubogas fine jewellery collection with an exclusive event in Bangkok, marking its Southeast Asian debut. Following its launch in New York last September, this collection highlights the brand’s distinctive Roman craftsmanship, which was shared with friends of the house such as Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

The event brought together prominent figures in the Bulgari community, from CEO Jean-Christophe Babin to global ambassadors from Thailand and beyond. Lalisa Manoban, better known by her mononym LISA, stepped out in a Robert Wun gown that complemented a stunning Tubogas necklace. Other guests included Mai-Davika Hoorne, Hồ Ngọc Hà, Luna Maya, Ayden Sng, Yubin Shin, and Mile-Phakphum Romsaithong.

The Tubogas collection combines two of Bulgari’s iconic elements—the eponymous Tubogas technique now reimagined in yellow gold. This combination reinforces the appeal of the precious metal within the brand’s DNA. Featuring 16 designs, the collection ranges from minimalist pieces to creations set with colourful gemstones and Bulgari motifs, each one reflecting 140 years of jewellery-making expertise.

The jewellery series’s name and likeness were derived from industrial tubes made of bands which were used to transport gas in the early 20th century. The House’s Tubogas technique involves wrapping long strips of precious metal around a core, creating a spring-like structure. The design first debuted as a watch in the Forties and has since cemented its reputation as one of Bulgari’s most recognised treasures.

The event captured the tactile elegance of Tubogas. It celebrated Bulgari’s uncanny Italian artistry, as well as its ability to balance its storied heritage with contemporary innovation, the result presents a striking display of luxury and bonafide craftsmanship.
