These Hong Kong celebrities donned fabulous Miu Miu ensembles to celebrate the release of two short films by female directors

Cinema and fashion came together at Soho House last week, as Miu Miu hosted an exclusive screening of two short films for its latest edition of Women’s Tales.

Shangri-La, directed by Isabel Sandoval, turned to the idea of America as a “promised Shangri-la” to certain immigrants in the 19th and 20th century, and explored themes of utopia, optimism and freedom.

Kaouther Ben Hania, who directed I and the Stupid Boy looked at the breakdown of communication between different personality types. “Costumes are a very powerful tool in cinema,” Kaouther said, and so both films featured Miu Miu pieces.
