If not for the horse-riding model who stole the show at Chanel’s last haute couture presentation, perhaps what would have gone viral on Instagram—besides the exquisite clothes, of course—is the playful set, envisioned by Xavier Veilhan.
Chanel has once again tapped on the French contemporary artist to create a fantasy world to accompany its upcoming Fall/Winter 2022 haute couture collection. Indeed, things get surreal in a series of teasers directed by Veilhan, where Chanel ambassador Charlotte Casiraghi and model Vivienne Rohner take a spin on vintage automobiles and ride geometric sharks with the finesse of the aforementioned equestrian.
Hints of the upcoming collection by Virginie Viard are also offered: a stunning green tweed suit, a painted lace dress, and a black sequin ensemble. It won’t be long before the French fashion house unveils the collection in its entirety. In fact, you can tune in to the Chanel Couture Fall/Winter 2022 show tonight at 8 pm (Singapore time) through the livestream below.
