British actress Lily James models the highly-anticipated Greca Goddess bags in Versace's fall/winter 2022 campaign
In her latest collection, artistic director and vice-president Donatella Versace introduces the Greca Goddess bags to encourage women to embrace their inner goddess. “Greek goddesses have always been part of Versace DNA," says the fashion visionary.
Fronting the campaign is Lily James, known for her roles on Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Cinderella. She is transformed into an otherwordly embodiment of strength and power in the campaign images, posing with the Greca Goddess bag featuring the geometric Greca insignia—a long-held symbol of the Versace brand that borders the Medusa head signifier.
"The Greca Goddess captures their clash of cultures and emotions," adds Versace. "Classical with a subversive rebellion, the cold metal Greca dressed in warm gold. These juxtapositions create something new. When I touch the strong, cold metal of the Greca, it makes me feel my strength and confidence.”

The shoulder bag boasts elegant, sculpted curves in sleek leather, punctuated with burnished-gold metal hardware on the flap and chain. The gold chain can also be swapped out for leather shoulder straps.
