1. NewJeans’s Haerin stars in Dior’s Denim Oblique campaign

Haerin from K-pop girl group NewJeans, who became a Dior brand ambassador in 2023, continues her ambassadorship journey with the brand, this time fronting the maison’s Denim Oblique campaign in pieces from the fall 2024 collection.

2. Singer Kun is Versace’s newest global brand ambassador

Chinese singer Cai Xukun, also known as Kun, has been appointed as Versace’s latest global brand ambassador. In the campaign imagery, the singer wears pieces from the maison’s pre-fall 2024 collection.

3. Rihanna launches Fenty Beauty in Shanghai

Rihanna has finally brought Fenty Beauty to China, and celebrated her foray into the region’s beauty market with a star-studded event in Shanghai, which was attended by several celebs from the region, including Stanley from Hong Kong’s favourite boy band, Mirror.

4. Fendi releases first collection of fragrances

Fendi has ventured into fragrances for the first time. It released a collection of seven perfumes inspired by the history of the maison, the culture of Rome and creative director Kim Jones’s childhood memories.

5. Miu Miu launches fifth iteration of its Upcycled collection

Miu Miu released its fifth Upcycled collection, which saw the brand disassembling old denim and transforming it into miniskirts, scarf tops and cropped blouson jackets.

6. Richemont announces Nicolas Bos as new CEO

Richemont has announced Nicolas Bos, currently the CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, as the newest CEO for the luxury conglomerate. He will start his new position from June 1.

7. Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign stars Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Tennis legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have starred in Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the pair can be seen carrying backpacks from the maison while hiking in the Dolomites in Italy. They also did an interview while sitting on a Louis Vuitton trunk amid falling snow—unsurprisingly, clips of this interview immediately went viral on social media.

8. Clot collaborates with Caroline Hu on ready-to-wear collection

Lifestyle brand Clot revealed its collaboration with emerging Chinese designer Caroline Hu in a ready-to-wear collection that embodies the visual motifs of Chinese tradition and culture.

9. Bottega Veneta launches candle collection

In a first for the brand, Bottega Veneta launched a collection of three candles: a fig, thyme and lavender scent in the green jar; a spicy vetiver and suede rose fragrance in the yellow jar; and a leather, tobacco and plum variety in the red jar.
