The late Princess Diana was not only a beloved royal and humanitarian but also a fashion icon whose influence continues to echo through the decades. Once the most photographed woman of her time, Diana had an ability to communicate her distinct elegance through what she wore.
Long before social media and influencer culture, Princess Diana was the walking definition of casual cool. Her paparazzi-captured appearances outside the gym, school runs with William and Harry, and strolls through London in sweatshirts, cycling shorts, varsity jackets and designer handbags sparked a blueprint for athleisure and elevated basics.
As we mark what would have been her 64th birthday this July 1, we revisit some of the late royal’s most notable off-duty style moments.
