Lee Taeyong is the latest K-pop artist to announce a partnership with a luxury maison

South Korean rapper and NCT member Lee Taeyong—who goes by Taeyong—is joining Loewe as its latest global brand ambassador, Loewe announced in a press release today.

“It’s a real honour to be a Loewe global brand ambassador,” said Taeyong. “[I’m] a huge fan of Loewe, not only for the designs, but also for the brand’s philosophy and unique way of communicating.”

Taeyong will attend Loewe’s upcoming spring/summer 2024 menswear show in Paris on June 24 to officially mark the new partnership.

“I’m delighted to welcome Taeyong to the Loewe family,” said creative director Jonathan Anderson. “[And] I’m excited to see what this collaboration will bring.”

Other global ambassadors of the house include K-pop girl group Nmixx, Chinese actress Tang Wei, Bones and All actress Taylor Russell and The Crown actor Josh O’Connor.

Besides Taeyong, other NCT members who are brand ambassadors include Jeno for Ferragamo, Jaehyun for Prada, Yuta for Louis Vuitton, and Doyoung for Dolce & Gabbana.
