After a hiatus of more than 10 years, Marc Jacobs has revived its iconic Stam bag, named after popular noughties’ model Jessica Stam, who also stars in the new campaign. First seen on the autumn-winter runway of 2005, the accessory quickly became the It bag of the mid-2000s and was flaunted by the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan. The 2023 iteration remains true to the original: from its quilted leather and its doctor’s bag-like structure right down to the shoulder straps and long metallic chain.
