Cover Louis Vuitton reimagines the “art of travel” through the emotive lens of Nicolas Ghesquière, guided by two stylish “travellers”: Emma Stone and Hoyeon

With its Fall/Winter 2025 women’s campaign, Louis Vuitton redefines the “art of travel” through the emotive perspective of Nicolas Ghesquière.

Once again, Louis Vuitton asserts its position at the forefront of emotionally charged fashion storytelling, and the Fall/Winter 2025 women’s campaign is its latest testament. Led by two elegant “travellers”, Emma Stone and Hoyeon, the campaign invites us on a journey into the spirit of adventure and enduring beauty. Captured by the nuanced lens of Ethan James Green, this campaign is not merely a presentation of a new collection, but a visual and emotional voyage that gently explores the themes of anticipation, parting, and reunion with sensitivity and grace.

Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, chose Gare du Nord in Paris as the setting for the show, perhaps intentionally. Train stations, after all, are places of meetings and farewells, fleeting intersections where strangers momentarily become protagonists. This transient beauty serves as a muse for the collection. It is not only a tribute to the Maison’s iconic “art of travel”, but a style symphony, where Ghesquière masterfully captures the joy, poignancy and anticipation that define every journey. The campaign reflects his instinctive understanding of how fashion can articulate the emotional nuances of human experience.

At the heart of the campaign is the launch of the “Express” bag, Nicolas Ghesquière’s newest signature creation. Its name pays elegant homage to the Speedy bag of the 1930s, a symbol of the golden age of travel infused with a sense of wonder and adventure. Crafted from grained leather and velvet calfskin, the “Express” balances resilience with timeless allure. Thoughtful detailing (Monogram Canvas on the handle, a key ring, gold-finished lock and Monogram jacquard lining) serves both aesthetic and archival purposes, evoking the Maison’s heritage and precision craftsmanship.
