Now the largest flagship store in Malaysia, the iconic luxury brand celebrated its opening night at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on July 24, 2004, with a massive celeb-studded party, where global superstar and the house’s brand ambassador, Jackson Wang, made a special appearance dressed in the latest Fall Winter ready-to-wear collection.
The evening captured the essence of Louis Vuitton’s style and exclusivity, as modelled by other high profile guests such as Scha Alyahya, Awal Ashaari, Juwei, Eyka Farhana, Debbie Goh, Jojo Goh, and Alicia Amin, all dressed in the maison’s ready-to-wear collections.
The recently opened Louis Vuitton boutique at Pavilion KL spans three floors—with level 2 dedicated to the men’s universe and level 3 to women’s—and features custom artwork, private client salons and an immersive retail experience.

While inside, visitors are greeted by a sleek, refined interior design that showcases the brand’s pledge to quality and craftsmanship, with rich, carefully selected materials and a curated collection of local and international artworks, including bespoke pieces by renowned Malaysian artist Red Hongyi and woven straw artworks by the artist MOOK.

This flagship store opening marks another chapter in the brand’s illustrious presence in the country. The brand’s journey in Malaysia started in 1985 as a standalone store at the former KL Hilton on Jalan Sultan Ismail. Over the decades—with store openings in Gardens Mall, Suria KLCC and most recently in December, 2023 in TRX Exchange—it has established itself as a hallmark of luxury in the country’s evolving retail landscape. An iconic moment in its history was in 2001, when Louis Vuitton hosted a lavish party at the old Bukit Bintang Girls School (BBGS)—the very site where Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stands today.
