Where Parisian fashion meets contemporary art, Longchamp’s latest pop-up brings its Winter 2026 collection to life
The search for an everyday bag usually comes down to one question: can it actually keep up with you? This season, Longchamp has a few new answers. From the newly released Le Smart to the Mini Le Smart, the French Maison’s latest bags bring a practical spirit to playful shapes and bold colours, making a case for adding a little more personality to your everyday rotation.
From September 30 to October 18, 2026, Longchamp brings its Winter 2026 collection to The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur, where fashion and contemporary art come together in an immersive pop-up inspired by French artist Caroline Hélain.

For Winter 2026, Longchamp looks to French artist Caroline Hélain, whose work explores abstract textile landscapes through colour, texture and layers. Her compositions are made by bringing together different materials, creating landscapes that feel tactile and almost three-dimensional.
That same sense of texture makes its way into the Longchamp collection. Among the standout pieces is the Daylong, which features Hélain’s abstract textile landscapes across contrasting calfskin textures, turning the bag into a canvas for her artwork. The collaboration also extends to Longchamp’s signature styles, including Caroline Hélain x Longchamp tote bags, where her layered compositions appear across cotton canvas.
It is more than just a printed finish. Look closer and Hélain’s layered artwork reveals different textures and materials, giving the bags a tactile quality that makes each piece feel like a little work of art in its own right.

But if you are looking for something a little more understated, Longchamp’s Winter 2026 collection has plenty to explore beyond the Hélain collaboration.
The newly released Le Smart brings a fresh take on the everyday bag, while the Le smart bucket bag in mini size offers the same idea in a smaller silhouette. The collection also comes in a range of colours, from caramel and olive to azure, matcha and burgundy, making a case for bringing a little colour into your everyday wardrobe.
Another bag worth keeping an eye out for is the Caroline Hélain x Longchamp Daylong handbags, a sleek shoulder bag that comes in both M and S sizes. In fact, it already has Yuna’s seal of approval. In our recent conversation with the singer-songwriter, she picked the Daylong as one of her favourites from the collection, making it one to look out for when you visit the pop-up.
At The Gardens Mall, all of this comes together inside an immersive Parisian studio inspired by Hélain’s artistic world. Bold colours, textures and layered compositions turn the pop-up into a gallery-like space, with Longchamp’s seasonal leather goods, ready-to-wear and accessories set against the artwork.
And you can get involved, too. Visitors can take part in an interactive collage workshop inspired by Hélain’s creative process, using paper, colour and texture to create their own layered compositions. Workshop participation is open to the public by registration.
From the bold hues of the Le Smart and Le smart bucket bag in mini size to Yuna’s Daylong pick and the beautifully textured pieces from the Caroline Hélain collection, Longchamp’s Winter 2026 pop-up makes a strong case for bringing a little more colour and creativity into your everyday wardrobe.
