In case you missed it: How Liz Uy styles pearls for her wardrobe
How does it feel to be selected for this trip? Any preparations?
Liz Uy (LU): Always a pleasure to be working with the Tom Ford team. They are always ahead of me so there was no prepping necessary except to present my best self! Ha ha.
What were you looking forward to the most?
LU: Aside from the iconic Seoul destinations and authentic Korean BBQs, it was the Tom Ford Beauty event because I know they’ve been planning it for a while and the anticipation of Gong Yoo’s appearance.

How was Korea? What was your favourite part of the trip?
Liz Uy: It was super cold, we were freezing! Also a nice change from our tropical weather. My favourite part would be walking around all day and exploring the city.
What was your favourite product in the Tom Ford Cherry Collection, and why?
Liz Uy: The Cherry Smoke Eau De Parfum. It’s a great fragrance with the scent of dark cherry. Very seductive and warm, perfect to have as my final accessory to an evening look. And The Electric Cherry Ultra Lip Shine. It’s very lightweight but still pigmented enough to give me that hint of cherry.

Talk to us about your thought process behind the looks you wore while on this tour.
Liz Uy: [In] every country I go to, I try to check out their local designers.
I got a few pieces from Korean designers Goen J (I love) & J.Chung.
No process really, [I] just wear what I love! Of course, always consider the weather and the occasion.
