The South Korean actor is appointed Tom Ford Beauty’s latest attaché for Asia-Pacific

The Hallyu wave is still going strong in 2022 as South Korean celebrities continue to be made brand ambassadors for global luxury houses ranging from fashion to beauty. The latest to front a major brand is none other than mega-star Gong Yoo.

The Train To Busan actor’s new role was announced in a press statement on July 1, accompanied by new images.

“Tom Ford Beauty is redefining modern luxury for the 21st century and I am honoured to be the new Asia-Pacific attaché. I look forward to my new journey with the brand,”  said Gong Yoo in an official release.

As brand attaché, Gong Yoo will partner with Tom Ford Beauty on upcoming campaigns spanning from fragrance to makeup—so look forward to seeing the fresh-faced star in mall ads soon enough. Gong is no stranger to fronting advertisement campaigns and is widely regarded as one of the biggest commercial film (or CF for short) stars in his home country.

He will make his Tom Ford Beauty debut in August, appearing in a campaign for the White Suede fragrance—a warm and spicy, musk-inspired fragrance from the Private Blend collection. First launched in 2009, the perfume is a rich combination of ingredients such as musk, rose, suede and sandalwood that come together to create a leathery scent.
