Here’s what was on our style radar this June 2024

The month of June bore witness to star-studded fashion events, launches, and many more. We met up with some of our favourite entertainment personalities at the launch of Bally’s flagship store while Jo Ann Bitagcol celebrated five years of her eponymous label. We also sat in awe at the impressive display of national pride at this year’s TernoCon. Meanwhile, we indulged in bejewelled treasures at the 12th anniversary celebration of Pandora in the Philippines.

Jo Ann Bitagcol celebrates five years of her label

Model-turned-photographer-turned-fashion designer Jo Ann Bitagcol rang in five years since the founding of her eponymously named label, Bitagcol. She marked the occasion with an intimate lunch in Poblacion’s Lampara, attended by friends and family and fellow fashion designers Ivarluski Aseron, Rhett Eala, Jor-El Espina, and Len Cabili.

Bally’s flagship store opening

Bally opened its flagship boutique in Rustan’s Makati, showcasing Swiss craftsmanship at its finest. Celebrating contemporary aesthetics and classic design structure, the store includes many products, including new pieces from its spring-summer 2024 lineup. Style icons Heart Evangelista, Sarah Lahbati, Kyline Alcantara, Tony Labrusca, and Gen T honouree Chris Nick Delos Reyes were present at the event.

TernoCon 2024

TernoCon 2024 honoured the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence with a stunning fashion showcase. The event centred around the creations of three designers: Jojie Lloren, Cary Santiago, and Jaggy Glarino. They left the audience in awe and amazement with their contemporary interpretations of the terno.

SOLÁ x L'Oreal

Kylie Verzosa held a launch party at Vestido Studio to celebrate a historical collaboration between her shapewear brand SOLÁ and L’Oréal Paris. She unveiled two limited edition L’Oréal Paris Matte Infallible Nude Attitude lipstick shades: Milk and Nude.

Pandora’s 12th anniversary celebration

Pandora marked its 12th year in the Philippines with a celebration at Shangri-La Plaza, complete with activities and games, such as an arcade game. The event also revealed a new collection, the Pandora Essence, inspired by nature’s sculptural forms.
