Filipina-owned start-up SOLÁ and international make-up brand, L’Oreal, just released the collaboration of the season

Gone are the days of the misconceptions about wearing shapewear; they’re no longer uncomfortable, too tight or ill-fitting. With the big difference in the market over the years, new start-ups like SOLÁ are changing the game and how people see and use shapewear.

This new era of shapewear prioritises comfort and confidence-boosting. An advocate for body positivity and self-love, founder Kylie Verzosa aims to empower individuals to look and feel their best without compromising comfort. “SOLÁ means ‘woman can stand on her own’ in Latin,” Verzosa shares. Finding a lack of this kind of product in the Philippine market, they made this line with actual people in mind so that those from all body shapes can wear their comfortable, flattering styles.

In quite the feat, SOLÁ has released a collaboration with L’Oreal Paris, a beauty brand that cultivates individuals’ confidence and empowerment. This pairing is undoubtedly one to remember. This project has brought about two new colours: Milk, previously a limited edition colour, is now here to stay, and Sand, a new nude for the brand. The L’Oréal Paris Matte Infallible Nude Attitude collection also showcases six new shades of nudes, pinks and mauves.

Just recently held at Vestido Studio, it was a fun-filled launch event with activities to test out the products and even a photo booth to show off the new shades from L’Oreal. The studio was elegantly decorated with florals and drapes in shades to match the matte lipstick collection.
