Cover Inside Front Row, an exclusive shopping journey held in partnership with The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

Tatler friends were treated to exclusive shopping events where they explored the latest luxury collections, exquisite jewellery offerings and more

A private shopping journey, curated by Tatler Singapore in partnership with The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, as part of their Front Row fashion festival, was an intimate affair—designer houses like Fendi and Bottega Veneta showcased their latest collections in private suites, where guests sipped on champagne and cocktails while considering the selections. For an added touch of luxury, Marina Bay Sands buggies were commissioned to ferry our fashion friends from boutique to boutique.

The first session invited our guests to splurge on luxurious accessories at Bottega Veneta, where assistant clienteling manager Paul Heng was on hand to introduce the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. Guests were delighted by the newly relaunched personalisation project, where selected handcrafted leather bags can be personalised with up to three letter plaques.

Our next stop was the newly renovated Boucheron store, where the group got the opportunity to admire the dazzling peacock-inspired Plume de Paon collection up close. Over glasses of bubbly, boutique manager Shaun Tan walked our guests through the jewellery maison’s novelties and signatures.

The evening drew to a close over delectable Chinese cuisine at award-winning restaurant Mott 32, where guests indulged in star dishes like the apple wood roasted Peking duck, and double-boiled bird’s nest.

At the second session, Tatler friends began their private shopping journey with a special presentation of Fendi’s Winter 2023 collection. Special projects manager Mami Kamioka walked them through the key colours and fabric of the season—roman rose and rose pink, and silk wool.

Then it was over to Piaget, for a closed-door viewing of scintillating timepieces and jewellery. This was followed by an exclusive gold crafting workshop that revealed the secrets and techniques of the house’s artisans. Our special guests were guided by professionals, using the same tools as Piaget’s designers, in creating the house’s most iconic and unique motif: the Decor Palace.

Finally, a sumptuous four-course dinner at modern Japanese restaurant Koma to end off the night. Guests savoured an assortment of fresh sashimi, wagyu beef dishes, and sake in a unique lounge reminiscent of the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto.
