From mini potted plants to personalised haikus, treat yourself to a special token from Hermès’ new pop-up

Whether you’re looking for somewhere to take your date or your family this weekend, Hermès has just the place for you: its new Monde d’Hermès Kiosk.

Held at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza from May 12 to May 16, the pop-up celebrates the launch of the latest issue of Le Monde d’Hermès, the French luxury brand’s bi-annual magazine.

As its name implies, the publication offers an inside look at the world of Hermès and its connections to fashion, art, architecture and travel through a panoply of interviews, features and photographs.

While always a visual treat for print lovers, the magazine’s upcoming issue for Spring/Summer 2022 is especially exciting. It revolves around the theme of lightness, and you’ll find creative collages, photographs, illustrations and archival Hermès imagery in the mix.

You can grab a copy for free at the equally playful Monde d’Hermès Kiosk, which will also play host to some quirky characters depending on when you pay your visit.

There’s the pop-up’s host, Mr Kiosk, who will share everything you need to know about Le Monde d’Hermès magazine. Art lovers both young and old can look out for The Portraitist, who will create quick sketches of the pop-up’s attendees, or The Sculptor, who will surprise visitors with his unexpected balloon sculptures.

Those with literary leanings would not want to miss The Poet, who will craft a personalised haiku for guests based on a short conversation with them. And if you’ve got a green thumb, do say hi to The Gardener, who will offer both gardening tips and a mini potted plant for each guest.

Freebies and a fun time—what else do you need this weekend?
