Singapore’s most stylish personalities turned out in full force for the Gucci flagship reopening at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

Gucci sure knows how to throw a party. Last night, the Italian luxury brand celebrated the reopening of its flagship store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands—a massive 10,555 sq ft duplex behemoth encompassing the full Gucci universe, which you know is a lot—with a full-on takeover of the iconic landmark.

The brand took over the shopping destination’s indoor canal with its universally recognised GG logo reimagined in a vibrant, eye-catching print, and also became the first brand to make its mark on the Rain Oculus at Marina Bay Sands with its centennial print, marking its 100th year celebration.

What’s more: Gucci also took over the Singapore skyline for a night, lighting up the hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum in the colours of the house’s signature Gucci Web.

And, of course, what’s a party without some boldfaced names in attendance?

While adhering to the prevailing social distancing measures, Singapore’s most stylish personalities were out in full force for one of the biggest fashion events Singapore has seen in almost two years. Celebrities the likes of JJ Lin, Fann Wong, Rebecca Lim and Jeanette Aw walked the red carpet, while Singapore’s cool kids—Mae Tan, Narelle Kheng, Nathan Hartono, Gentle Bones, Jasmine Sokko, et al—rocked up in their best Gucci ’fits for the night.
