Budding local Jazz musician, Nathan Hartono, has been announced as the opening act for the Laura Fygi 25th Anniversary Concert.
Louis Armstrong once famously said "If you have to ask what jazz is, you'll never know" so if you agree with the iconic music master, you will love the news that local rising star, Nathan Hartono, has been announced as the opening act for the Laura Fygi 25th Anniversary Concert.
Taking place in Singapore on September 9 at the Star Theatre, Nathan has come a long way since winning Tennage Icon in 2005, with this concert being one of many he looks set to play to celebrate SG50 this year.
And Nathan is in superb company with Dutch Jazz diva Laura. Celebrating 25 years as a solo artiste, the legendary performer has given us a sneak peak into what we can look forward to in her shows, promising a range of not only her favourite hits, but the chance to sample some of her newest pieces too.
