From Milan Fashion Week front rows to the ‘Arirang’ stage, Jin has made Gucci’s modern tailoring his own. Here are his most memorable looks as the house’s global brand ambassador
Jin’s partnership with Gucci brings the Italian house’s rock ’n’ roll heritage into conversation with the BTS star’s polished, versatile style. Since becoming its global brand ambassador in August 2024, shortly after completing his military service, he has worn the label across Milan Fashion Week appearances, campaigns and performance settings. From leather biker jackets and relaxed tailoring to more formal ensembles, his wardrobe reflects Gucci’s ability to balance rebellious attitude with Italian craftsmanship.
Here are some of Jin’s best Gucci looks, exploring the pieces, silhouettes and styling choices that define his partnership with the house.

1. Jin’s Gucci ‘Primavera’ leather biker jacket
No look proves Jin’s pull better than the Gucci grainy laminated bull leather jacket from the Primavera campaign, which reportedly sold out across Europe in under 24 hours. The glossy, dark biker jacket has anatomical padded panels, a mandarin collar, a buckled waist belt and raised “Primavera” lettering down the left sleeve. Jin wore it zipped over dark indigo denim, carrying a black GG monogram belt bag.
Style note: balance high-sheen leather with matte denim to keep racing-inspired glamour wearable.
2. Jin’s iridescent Gucci knit at his Milan Fashion Week debut
Jin’s European fashion week debut as ambassador took place at Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 show at the Triennale di Milano in September 2024, drawing crowds outside the venue. His fine-gauge knit polo shifted between aubergine and copper-brown, framed by an open blue collar placket. He tucked it into pleated mocha-brown trousers with a silver Horsebit belt buckle and layered pendant necklaces.
Style note: a plunging V-neck knit draws the eye downward and softens broad shoulders, adding ease to tailoring.
3. Jin’s Gucci leather blouson and tie at Milan Fashion Week
At the Gucci Women’s Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show in Milan in February 2025, Jin turned officewear on its head. He wore a boxy blouson in washed charcoal leather, with a pointed collar and chest-panel pockets, over a pale blue shirt, a slim dark tie, tailored black trousers and chunky Horsebit loafers.
Style note: to modernise a shirt and tie, swap the blazer for a structured leather jacket. The contrast between rigid tailoring and rugged outerwear adds a rebellious edge.
4. Jin’s ivory Gucci shirt in a minimalist look

For the global premiere of Gucci’s short film project, The Tiger, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, Jin made a case for the impact of impeccable fabric and proportion. His ivory shirt, left open at the chest and falling in soft folds, was paired with high-waisted black wide-leg trousers, a belt with a gold GG buckle and black leather Horsebit loafers. A pendant necklace and rings provided the finishing touches, allowing the shirt’s natural lustre to take centre stage.
Style note: luxury lies in the drape and texture of a garment, not necessarily its logos. Leaving a silk shirt open at the chest creates a V-neckline that visually lengthens the neck and torso.

5. Jin’s crystal-flecked denim jacket on the Arirang stage
Built for big venues on BTS World Tour Arirang, this custom Gucci two-piece turned classic workwear into spectacle. The washed blue denim jacket was cut short and boxy with a zip front and stand collar, scattered with crystals that carried through to relaxed, wide-leg jeans in a deeper indigo. A white tee underneath kept things clean, and his pink crystal-studded microphone completed the picture.
Style note: pairing a short, boxy jacket with wide-leg trousers elongates the legs and boosts movement, especially when light-catching crystals are involved.

Gucci introduced Jin to the world in August 2024, dressed in the house’s signature Ancora red, the deep bordeaux championed by then-creative director Sabato De Sarno. His oversized utility shirt-jacket, with a pointed collar and patch chest pocket, was woven in tonal GG monogram jacquard. Underneath sat a pink dress shirt.
Style note: rich shades such as oxblood or burgundy can look severe near the face. A pastel layer beneath, in pink or lavender, softens the effect while keeping the colour’s depth.
7. Jin’s crystal-flecked Gucci GG monogram denim set
For his solo Run Seokjin Ep Tour, Jin gave Gucci’s heritage GG monogram an arena-sized sparkle. The two-piece set paired a blue trucker-style jacket with matching wide-leg trousers, both woven in GG jacquard and dusted with crystals. He wore it open over a white tank, with white sneakers and a blue crystal-studded microphone to match.
Style note: when the surface does the talking, keep everything else quiet. Plain white layers and clean footwear let embellished denim shine without looking cluttered.
8. Jin’s emerald Gucci suit with a chartreuse knit

Jin’s official ambassador portraits in August 2024 set the tone for his tenure under Sabato De Sarno. He wore a double-breasted suit from Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection in deep forest-green wool, with classic notch lapels, dropped shoulders and flared trousers with split hems. An acid-chartreuse polo with an open-knit placket sat underneath, while kelly-green sneakers grounded the outfit.
Style note: formalwear needn’t demand dress shoes. Bold trainers modernise architectural tailoring and make it feel right for daytime.
9. Jin’s retro collegiate Gucci plaid blazer
At his Happy live showcase, Jin turned Ivy League nostalgia into a stage-ready statement. The look centred on a relaxed, single-breasted blazer in navy with a red windowpane check, with yellow Gucci lettering embroidered on the chest. Underneath was a white shirt with fine blue pinstripes, worn open and loose at the neck, with black trousers. His pink crystal-studded microphone added a personal flourish.
Style note: you can mix two classic patterns if their scales differ. The bold check anchors the outfit, while fine pinstripes add texture without clutter.
