See all the best dressed Asian stars that graced the 75th Cannes Film Festival in France
Elegance, glamour and drama—the red carpet at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival certainly delivered all three, thanks to the diverse roster of Asian celebrities that attended the prestigious event.
Cannes jury member Deepika Padukone led the way with her many stylish ensembles throughout the 11-day film festival, but it was her metallic Louis Vuitton gown with big, bold shoulders—shown on the runway just two weeks ago—that stole the spotlight.
Fellow Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is consistently one of the best-dressed stars of the Cannes, outdid herself with her otherworldly Gaurav Gupta gown. Just as extravagant was Indonesian actress Raline Shah’s green ballgown, which glows in the dark.
Others opted for subtle ensembles. While attending the premiere of the South Korean film Broker with her fellow cast members, K-pop star IU wore a draped grey tulle gown from bridal brand Choi Jae Hoon that let her Chaumet jewels truly sparkle. Chinese actress Tang Wei, meanwhile, looked regal in her Fendi couture gown. And Squid Game star Lee Jung-Jae donned yet another excellent suit, courtesy of Gucci.
Below, see how other Asian celebrities impressed on the Cannes red carpet.
