Here’s the rundown on the best of style this April 2025

Once again, style came in full force this month, offering an exciting array of fashion, beauty, and jewellery highlights. We had the opportunity to explore new collections, attend exclusive previews, and mingle with some of our favourite recurring faces in the Tatler sphere. 

This month, the spotlight shone on homegrown fashion, as heritage-inspired brand Filip+Inna opened its doors to a two-day pop-up event in collaboration with jewellery designer Natalya Lagdameo and textile specialist Balay Ni Atong. Design duo Construction Layers also kicked off a three-month retail residency at Power Plant Mall’s Comme Çi.

Tatsulok sa Tag Init

Tatsulok sa Tag-Init, a pop-up showcase curated by designers Len Cabili, Balay ni Atong and Natalya Lagdameo, was held over the weekend of April 4 to 5 at Filip+Inna’s charming Mandaluyong studio. The event gathered creative individuals, friends and style community members in celebration of Filipino fashion and culture.

Last April 8, Construction Layers, in partnership with PHx Fashion Group, kicked off a three-month residency at Comme Çi in Power Plant Mall. The event marked the brand’s first retail space event and coincided with the release of Collection III.V, featuring a reissue of their highly sought-after pieces. Tatler also had the opportunity to sit down for an interview with founders Kendrick Cay and CP Garcia.

Sari Lazaro unveils pop-up at Power Plant Mall

Designer Sari Lazaro returns to Power Plant Mall with a pop-up store just in time for the summer holidays. The opening coincides with the release of her new ready-to-wear collection which draws inspiration from the Filipino people’s inherently joyful spirit.

Lazaro comments, “My collection reflects embracing life’s beauty and finding light even in the darkest moments, just as the Filipino people do every day. Through these pieces, I aim to share that infectious, playful energy.”

Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark visited Maison Jewelmer during her first visit to the Philippines. Just last year, she captivated onlookers on the world stage when she earned the Lumière de l'Infini Crown, famously made of Jewelmer’s golden pearls.
