Maison Jewelmer opens a new chapter for the esteemed jewellery house
Jewelmer spent almost half a century penning a love letter to the South Sea pearl, the Philippines’ national gem. Now, the esteemed jewellery house opens a new chapter with the opening of Maison Jewelmer, a private retail space and cultural hub. They aim to provide a bespoke experience for their illustrious friends and clientele.
“Maison Jewelmer is our way of giving back and expressing our gratitude to our clients, who have supported us through the years. We want them to celebrate their personal milestones here, where they can host special events and such. Ultimately, it’s a place where we can give them the service and experience they truly deserve,” shares CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec.

Conceptualised and constructed over two years, Maison Jewelmer is nestled on a penthouse floor with sprawling views of Metro Manila that extend over to the bay. The space boasts a blend of Filipino and French influences, highlighted by silk artwork by Olivia d’Aboville and paintings by Thomas Godin. A collection of 15th century Vietnamese artefacts salvaged from a shipwreck near Jewelmer’s pearl farm reflect a love for history and heritage.
Branellec envisions collectors from all over the world visiting Maison Jewelmer while experiencing Filipino hospitality and learning more about the brand’s history. The space will also become a gathering space for educational events, from talks to ikebana classes and champagne tastings. “The purpose of [Maison Jewelmer] is to bring that experiential aspect to the brand and engage in the relationships we’re fostering,” he comments.

The space reflects the very essence of Jewelmer and its enduring love affair with craft and sustainability. As one enters through golden mother-of-pearl doors, they are fully immersed into a different kind of retail experience fostered by creativity and a veneration for the sea’s treasures. Branellec remarks, “We want people to leave here and say: only at Jewelmer.”
