The duo is launching a new exhibition showcasing unique and never-before-seen items from world-renowned designers next month

Savior-Faire: The Mastery of Craft in Fashion is the latest project from CEO Adrian Cheng and former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld, who joined forces to present this exhibition at the K11 Art and Culture Centre.

A first for Asia, this multi-brand exhibition will show iconic haute couture items and rare archival pieces from luxury brands such as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Iris van Herpen, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, and Valentino. Pieces from the archives of K11 Craft & Guild Foundation will also be on display.

“Savoir-faire is about connecting with history, rejuvenating traditional art and craftsmanship and bridging the past with the future,” said Adrian Cheng.

The curated displays will reveal the craftmanship and stories behind each piece, and the exhibits will be divided into five, visually and physically immersive zones—Modern Reinvention, Atelier Tailleur, Extreme Craft, Bridal Couture and Tales from the Runway.

To kick off the event, Cheng and Roitfeld are hosting dual parties on December 10. Already dubbed “Asia’s Met Gala”, the Hong Kong-based event K11 Night will be invitation only for fashion A-listers, celebrities and socialites.

Guests will also be able to participate in a silent auction with handpicked, one-of-a-kind collectibles up for sale, and the public will be able to view these items online from December 13 to mid-January. All proceeds will be donated to UNESCO and the K11 Craft and Guild Foundation.

Savior-Faire: The Mastery of Craft in Fashion will open on December 13 at the K11 Art and Cultural Centre, and early bird ticketing starts today on the K11 MUSEA website.
