Adele Is Bringing Glamour Back With Her New Emotional Album ‘30’
The singer has sported a whole host of fabulous looks in the lead up to her newest album, and we can’t get enough
Adele's 30 is her riskiest release yet and has us as at our most emotionally vulnerable. The hit album is a masterclass in powerful ballads, and also speaks of the transformation Adele has undergone over the past few years. The gorgeous outfits she’s been wearing additionally symbolise much of that change.
This singer has always had a flair for glamour, but Adele’s taking it to an entirely new level and, to celebrate, Tatler looks back at her best outfits so far.
This Schiaparelli gown is incredibly elegant, with the white fabric twisting into a rose on the bust and puffing out behind, which contrasts against the sleek black bodice. The off-the-shoulder neckline creates an open space that draws attention to her pearl earrings, and the gold tooth detail is classic Schiaparelli—a surprising macabre element.
For her One Night Only show in Los Angeles, Adele wore a similar custom Schiaparelli gown, this time in all-black. We saw a peek of an embellished and sparkling bust, with satin wrapping across her torso and coming back over her shoulder as a sleeve. She also wore pearl-set gold Saturn earrings, mirroring the tattoo on her forearm.
Adele snapped in her Easy On Me music video—this Lavin ensemble is everything, and the shiny leather trench coat is the perfect post-divorce piece. Autumnal shades of brown, orange and burgundy are perfect examples of how to do tonal dressing, and the colour combination offsets her cinnamon blonde locks.
Oscar de la Renta
This metallic minidress proves Adele isn’t confined to gowns when she wants to do glam. Her waist is snatched and the orange, brown and silver embellishments scream: “Best Dressed at the Holiday Party”.
At her An Audience With Adele show yesterday, Adele went with another all-black look from Louis Vuitton speckled with silver gems that shimmered like the night sky. The off-the-shoulder neckline allowed her Veronica Lake curls to cascade over her shoulder, and she kept the rest of the look simple with black diamond jewellery.
LV round two…
We can’t talk about Louis Vuitton without mentioning this iconic look worn by Adele as she sat courtside at Lakers-Warriors game. Accompanying her new beau, Rich Paul, the singer wore a brown leather jumpsuit with an LV monogrammed coat over her shoulders in a way that said: “Successful, supportive and stylish”.
