He draws inspiration from old Hollywood and Studio 54. "I like to merge elegance and sensuality and it reflects on me as a person in real life," says Nick. "I’m a big fan of the past. Tom Ford and Yves Saint Laurent are also huge inspirations of mine and it’s very evident in my work."

For three years, Nick has learned the gritty side of fashion, allowing him to elevate his designs even further by combining masculine and feminine elements, creating timeless and powerful statement pieces.
Get to know the designer as he takes us through his day to day:
What does fashion mean to you?
A way to turn my fantasy into a reality.
The moment you wake up, what is the first thing you do?
Drink about a litre of ice-cold water and an iced americano to kickstart my day and continue my fasting.

What is your usual daily routine?
Usually starts off with a run and a workout would then revolve around work schedules - fittings and meetings, events if there are any.
Who do you look up to?
My mother. She’s a go-getter, and I think I got it from her—going after what I want and making my way to get it.

What do you love most about your job?
That it never feels like work to me. Ever. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else and I’m so blessed to be able to do what I love.
What do you like doing during your free time?
I like to have a martini, maybe three. Eight if I can.
What does a perfect day look like to you?
A perfect day for me is waking up past 11am, having an oat milk latte and just doing nothing the whole day or perhaps having Sunday brunch at Cecconi’s and dropping by Maxfield’s and spotting the Courreges leather jacket I’ve been waiting for — that literally just happened last week.

What other interests do you like to pursue?
The restaurant business. I’m big on food ever since I was young, nothing’s better than a fabulous meal on a white tablecloth and a martini in a dark room. Not so soon though, but it’s been in my head for quite some time
What is the last thing you do before sleeping?
I like to watch random facts - amateur documentaries on YouTube. It’s either that or online shopping.
What’s one piece of advice you’d like to give aspiring designers?
No other person can represent your brand better than you.
