2022 was one of Philippine fashion's biggest years yet. Lest we forget, the country has been on a two-year hiatus. But this has only given us more time for rumination, encouraging many of the country's greatest visionaries to create pieces inspired by both the future and the past. Some of these symbolise hope and political stances, while others are simply homages to the forgotten.

As designers, muses, and enthusiasts make their most-anticipated return in physical events, be it on the runway or at a ball, these creations are finally appreciated in their original form.
