With seven years spent doing makeup for models, brides, and celebrities, Johnson Estrella knows how to bring out anyone's natural glow
"[I'm into] Face Gems, especially to enhance the hairstyle for either wedding or glamour camping “glamping”. Adding little gems and metallic sparkles either on one cheek or both, just in the corner of the eye or both seem such fun to do. Since my last name is Estrella, I would like to add a bit of glitter and gems—why not!
[I also love] the no makeup look. I discovered that I like the no makeup look and it has become my favourite as I find it a very fascinating and interesting challenge. I layer the makeup products on the skin and it is satisfying to see the colours seamlessly blend slowly together through different layers. Pure perfection. It became a trend before and the look is now back.
[Lastly, I'm interested in] tantouring. It's like contouring the already-tanned skin for a more natural glow. It is applying some tanning solution serum which absorbs into your skin, blending in the moisturizer and dabbing on the facial features that need to be enhanced."

"I don't follow makeup trends. I like to do classic makeup looks most of the time. A little bit of play is good but I always stick to my usual routine not because I'm stagnant, boring, or I don't want to explore and experiment, but because I just love to enhance someone’s features by giving them balance. It is my number one goal."

"I love using cream blush for a sunkissed look and to contour and lift the cheeks. It's a very minimal application with maximum effect. I'd love to try the blurred eyeliner technique using diffused eyeshadow as a softer way to contour the eyes. It's a modern and refreshing approach to lift the eyes."
