What's a flawless makeup look if your foundation does not match your skin tone? In the list we've prepared are makeup brands that honour inclusivity through their range of foundation shades
1. Lancôme
Lancôme, which was founded in 1935, prides itself on being able to adapt more progressive philosophies in the art of makeup making. The brand has used its decades-long experience in the industry to formulate foundation shades that cater to customers of colour. Its Teint Idole Ultra HD foundation, for example, is jam-packed with 50 shades that helped consumers find the foundation that perfectly fits them.

2. Cover FX
Cover FX has everything you'll ever look for in a makeup brand: it is vegan, cruelty-free, and offers a range of foundation shades fit for all skin types and colours.
The brand's award-winning foundation provides 40 diverse shades and three undertones for a skin-specific match. They are all available in powder, liquid, and cream formulas.
3. Pat McGrath
Makeup artist and Beauty Editor Pat McGrath has had a long run in the beauty industry and this is why her brand knows what's best for her consumers around the world. Her makeup line includes 36 shades of Sublime Perfection Foundation.
In an interview with The Guardian, the artist revealed how she came up with such an inclusive beauty brand. “I was working all the time with pigments to make sure they work on all skin tones, particularly to make sure dark skin doesn’t become ashy, pigments that are so rich they work on everybody.”
4. Fenty Beauty
There is no doubt that when it comes to inclusivity, Rihanna's Fenty Beauty is always the one to trust. When the brand launched in September 2017, it already offered 40 shades of foundation which women around the globe immediately fawned over.
As a woman of colour herself, Rihanna knows the struggles of finding the right shade for her skin. “There needs to be something for a dark-skinned girl; there needs to be something for a really pale girl; there needs to be something in-between," she said in one interview.

5. Bobbi Brown
Bobbi Brown has always been known as one of the world's most inclusive brands since the 1990s. In fact, in 1992, the beauty line came up with 10 foundation sticks for different skin tones.
In its 25th anniversary in 2016, Bobbi Brown launched its Be Who You Are campaign to honour 40 women of different races, cultural backgrounds, and skin shades. The brand was able to launch its best-selling foundation which comes in more than 40 shades.
6. Nars
Nars' radiant and long-wear foundation promises a seamless look, especially for women who find it hard to find a foundation that looks and feels natural. With over 30 shades, the brand provides a foundation that's buildable, inclusive, and easy to blend.
7. Rare Beauty
Selena Gomez has one goal when she launched the Rare Beauty line: for women to "eliminate" perfection and embrace the beauty of being "rare." Her makeup brand, which offers foundations depending on the consumer's "Shade Range," champions inclusivity and diversity.
On Rare Beauty's official website, you are free to choose a group that represents your shade—light, light-medium, medium, medium tan, medium-deep, and deep. After this step, the site will allow you to choose which undertone suits you best—warm, neutral, or cool.
The site will then come up with a shade that you can use for a glossy, seamless makeup look!
