Cover Begüm Khan speaking to guests at the Guerlain pop-up

The pop-up at Ion Orchard features limited-edition creations from Guerlain’s holiday collection

This holiday season, French luxury beauty house Guerlain is offering a special limited-edition collection created in collaboration with Turkish jeweller Begüm Khan. The selection includes luxurious bottles of fragrances, as well as perfume bottle caps and a lipstick case–all adorned with Begüm Khan’s jewelled designs.

On a Wednesday afternoon (November 29), Tatler Singapore invited beauty enthusiasts from our community to get up close with these dazzling Guerlain creations at a private event hosted by Begüm Khan at the maison’s festive pop-up in Ion Orchard.

The Turkish jeweller introduced the creations from her Guerlain collaboration to the guests, sharing her inspirations and design process. She also spoke about the close relationship she has with the Guerlain team, and how she enjoyed the creative freedom that the maison allowed her in this collaboration.

Together with Begüm, guests were able to discover the star creation of the collaboration: the Bee Bottle by Begüm Khan, which is a stunning Métier d’Art one-litre bottle of perfume decorated with a sparkling jewelled beetle framed by a rosette of crystals. Only 40 of these are available worldwide, and Singapore is the only country in Southeast Asia to be allocated one of these numbered creations.

Also at the pop-up was a second jewelled perfume bottle, the Imagine Guerlain 2023 Millésime by Begüm Khan. Each bottle is a unique numbered piece, limited to 4,515 worldwide.

As flora and fauna are key inspirations for Begüm Khan, the jeweller introduced some of her favourite animals to the collection in the form of personalisation plates made to adorn Guerlain’s perfume bottles. A tortoise representing longevity, a frog symbolising reincarnation, and a tiger embodying strength each sit on a plate, along with the royal beetle and bee. All are hand‑paved with gems in various colours and limited to 180 plates each worldwide.

The final creation in this collection is the Rouge G Fantasy Bee lipstick case, featuring a bee adorned with 280 gems. The case comes as part of a set of three Rouge G lipstick shades and are limited to 250 sets worldwide.
